Abstract. New “enlightened” and holistic maintenance strategies are shaping the industrial world from inside, providing intelligent focused solutions where high availability, reliability safety required. Maintenance planning scheduling is an extremely daunting multi-faceted task which involves competences fairly different fields: customer support, quality, engineering, production, RAMS, cost estimation etc. In aerospace sector, a significant percentage of Life Cycle Costs (LCCs) and, in particular, operating costs, determined by Maintenance, Repair Overhaul (MRO) activities relative asset unavailability due to down-time or turn-around-time [1,2]. This reason why currently there ongoing intense effort research community industry towards new could overcome limitations preventive thus streamlining operations, without jeopardizing mission safety. project hence spot on focuses development optimized strategies, built around system health status.
